Tax Accountant (Remote) - 6 contract / 1 full-time
CriticalPath currently has 7 openings for Tax Accountants with 1 or more years of tax preparation experience. Six are renewable contract roles for approximately 700 hours - early and late season. The other Tax Accountant role is full-time permanent. Both are remote.

Who we are looking for
You are an accountant with a 4-year degree and a full year of tax preparation experience in a public accounting or professional services firm. Your experience includes:
Preparation and review of individual, state & local tax returns, and preferably corporate, partnership, and pass-through tax returns
Calculate and prepare estimated tax payments
Communication with clients on various tax matters
Business and tax authority correspondence
Identifying various tax matters
Experience with cloud-based tax prep platforms
Familiar with Quickbooks Online

Compensation
Contract Staff Accountant
Hourly compensation - 700 hours: $46 - 50 per hour
Benefits include professional membership discounts, CPE sponsorship, group health insurance discounts, and our Practice Builder sponsorship to assist accountants in developing their own practice.
Staff Accountant
Annual compensation: $68,500 - 72,000
Heavy or light - overtime is optional and bonused separately
